Tim Hinck's thoughts on music and life- There is a lady living across the street from me. She is dying of cancer. I have never seen anyone so full of life and energy. She loves to work outside in the flowers and grass of her yard. I can see her savoring every sunny day... the way she stands up from planting a flower bulb with such satisfaction on her face and claps the dirt from her gloves with resolution. I want to be like that lady.

Life and Love

...the past month has taught me more about life and love than I have ever known before: what kind of tortured and beautiful process is growing up and living life! ... i can't express enough gratitude for those people who have broken my heart in the past year... for all the love-sickness and love-loss, i can never thank you enough! i am alive!! more than i've ever felt before. picking up the pieces of a broken heart has got to be the most human emotion that there is... what a passionate chore! IT HURTS, but that little spark of love-longing that makes you get up and look for love again: that's what it means to be alive and human. this is the only game in life where, in the end, we are completely honest with each other.. either you love or you do not... in the end, there's no way to hide how you really feel... swimming through this sea of humanity, grasping at each other.. searching.. what a shit-load of wonderful chaos!

So i would have said more than 'phnom penher' last comment, but it just so happened that my keyboard on my laptop decided to randomly throw in the towel (again) (a disasterous spilling of soymilk some weeks ago). But I hope you smile when you think of me at my laptop with 3%...2%...1% battery life frantically using my mouse to copy and paste from other text--letter by letter--'p_h_n_o_m_ _p_e_n_h_e_r' AND the cursed word verification password 'd_u_v_h_a_q' (with a hard to find 'q' at the end) like some last scribblings from a dying Publius Montague.
